Choosing a Focal point
The power of a focal point in a room can’t be defined. Sometimes they seem natural, like when you have a striking window or built-in mantelpiece, while sometimes you have to create them yourself, e.g. TV stands with televisions. Whichever focus you choose, make a decision and stick with it and then try to arrange the furniture around it as much as possible.
Don’t Place the Furniture Against the walls
The dimensions of the room determine how far you can remove your furniture from the walls, but even in a small space you want to give the rooms a bit of space by leaving a few inches between the back of the furniture and the back of the walls. This small space can feel the rooms appear larger. If you have a larger room, you can of course arrange the furniture in such a way that conversation rooms are created in the middle of the room and make free several meters between the walls and the furniture.
Fix a conversion area
Of course, people should be able to talk to each other without breaking their necks or yelling across the room. Place sofas and chairs facing each other (not necessarily in a straight line, but close together) so they're close enough for people to chat without raising their voices. If the room is too big, create multiple conversation spaces.
Keep a right size Rug
Carpets should be under furniture-all furniture if you can handle it. You can expose the floor at the edges of the room, but if you're using a rug make sure it's big enough for all of the seats to rest on. At least the front legs of the large parts should rest on the mat (the backs can be on the floor if necessary).

When it comes to coffee tables, go for bigger ones and that seems to be better. A large coffee table in the middle of a sitting area is great for both aesthetics and function. It acts as an anchor for the room and offers plenty of space for beverage or the presentation of your favorite accessories. A large table also provides easier access from the seats around it.
Let The room be filled with Natural Light
Lighting is an important factor in designing living space. Natural light contributes a major role in design of a living space in a home/office. You can have additional lights like floor lamps, table lamps according to the size of your living space. Lighting needs to be placed at different levels and should be balanced equally with furniture so that it makes an awesome feel when seeing.
