Scope of the Interior Design field :Residence Interiors which includes spaces like Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, studio apartment etc. Also design of other Interior spaces like Commercial, Corporate & Professional Offices, Hospitality, Retail Facilities, Healthcare, Institutional, Entertainment, and Restoration & Adaptive Reuse. Interior designing for residents includes kitchen and bath design, model homes; interior design for commercial buildings includes decorating the interiors of corporate offices, healthcare, retail facilities, institutes, hotels, entertainment venues among others. Another part of interior designing is the specialty design that deals with lighting, codes, and product design.
Dream Zone's Master Diploma is a flexible, part-time program, best suited for people who cannot pursue degree programs in Interior/Architecture offered by colleges.
To impart training in all aspects of interior designing and to provide adequate knowledge of the industry's best practices.
The course teaches the fundamental principles of interior design and the various areas of specializations. Incorporation of the human behavior and psychology, along with the environmental sciences and technology makes the course comprehensive and keeps the students well-grounded with the art of designing spaces.
Students study 2 volumes of books which cover all the basics & advance topics related to Interior Designing & master three software tools as per the need of the current Interior Industry.
Software used: Photoshop, Ilustartor, Dreamweaver, Coral Draw, InDesign and Sound Forge. Animation: Students learn the basics of drawing, sketching, and shading in animal and human anatomy, characters, and models. They are provided with hands on experience in modeling, textures, composition, and character design.
Students study three volumes of books on residential and commercial projects and master four software tools that are used to create digital designs and planning.
The learning is supported with practical project work, aided by lectures, seminars, workshops, and site visits. Experienced Architects/ Interior Designers give training to the students to make them competitive. Leading architects, interior designers and manufacturers address the students on the latest trends and techniques.
In total students complete about 140 practice sessions while participating in group and individual assignments, students gain tremendous knowledge about Interior designing & related topics. Students create real models. Industrial visit is an important component of the program wherein students visit live construction sites, and material factories. The basics of project planning too are taught.
SSLC or 10th pass is desirable. However, anyone who is interested in creative intellect/ intuition/ capabilities can take up this course.
The basic kit consisting of drawing equipment and supplies helps the students to carry out the studio works efficiently.
