Autodesk's Max 3D Modeling software and Maya 3D, its animation, modeling, simulation, rendering, and compositing software are widely used in the field of graphics and animation. These offer a wide range of creative features set on a highly extensible production platform.
The course aims to provide students the ability to combine creativity with technology to make world class 3D models and animated characters.
The modules of study focus on 3D. The course will enable students to grasp the basics of drawing, sketching, and shading in animal and human anatomy, characters and models. Students will also gain experience in modeling, textures, composition, and character design and world class animation.
Software used: 3ds Max or Maya.
SSLC or 10th pass is desirable. However, anyone who is interested in creative intellect/ intuition/ capabilities can take up this course.
Theoretical and practical exercises are carried out in computer lab and fashion lab. The basic kit consisting of drawing equipment and supplies helps the students to carry out the studio works efficiently.
